You would think with no football to be talked about there would be very little going on while Celtic are away in Dubai, but it’s quite the opposite.

While the club has been away, they have signed three players, Damien Duff has taken up a role with the youth team, and a certain Ibrox club have won the SPFL at least five times.

Never a dull moment when you’re a Celtic fan and today was no different. We found out today Damien Duff is not the only man Celtic want to bring in to shake up the coaching at youth level. There have been murmurings of the club bringing back former Celtic captain Stephen McManus.

The former defender is currently a coach at Motherwell and could be tempted to leave the Steelmen to take up a role in a youth system which once gave him his chance in football.
