Celtic are said to be stunned behind the scenes that the SPFL have chosen to charge the club for the boil Bolingoli incident and use punishments which weren’t in place when it first happened according to SunSport.

Boli Bolingoli has been exiled by Celtic and is likely to leave Scottish football in the coming weeks. The club have made their feelings clear on the issue and have reprimanded the defender in-house.

A source at Celtic told CeltsAreHere the club are ready to fight this charge and will not be rolling over to the SPFL on the matter.

From the club’s point of view, they have been doing an impeccable job to keep players safe and follow protocols to the letter. One man has taken it upon himself to go rogue and put other people at risk without the club’s knowledge.  They accept Boli should be taking any punishment he is handed but refuse to lie down to a club charge.

  1. If the SFA want to charge Celtic for the Boli incident then fine lets take it up a notch and charge the SFA for not doing their bit in supporting Football clubs in Scotland with the Covid 19 Pandemic. After all they supposidly the Football governing body who all scottish clubs are reportable too.
