Former Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw has completed a permanent move to English League Two side Fleetwood Town, signing a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, departs Celtic after making just two senior appearances in three years.

Shaw first caught Celtic’s attention while playing for Sheffield Wednesday, signing a pre-contract agreement with the club before Ange Postecoglou arrived in Glasgow.
He became the first signing of the post-Lennon, Postecoglou era in 2020.
Despite limited opportunities at Celtic Park, Shaw remained unbeaten in his two appearances for the Hoops, featuring in a 3-2 Europa League win over Real Betis and a league match against St Mirren in December 2021.
After spending time out on loan to Motherwell and Wigan, Shaw now joins Charlie Adam’s Fleetwood Town, where he will be hoping to kickstart his career with regular first-team football. The midfielder has gone straight into the Cod Army squad for their upcoming fixture against Bromley this weekend.
Now aged 23, he needs to be playing regular, first team, football week in and week out.
Now, a month after the summer window slammed shut, he’s got himself a club to play football at.
Best of luck to the player in the future.
