Celtic have signed Liam Shaw on a pre-contract deal with the 19-year-old now expected in Glasgow this summer.
Although it’s a pre-contract deal, a small youth player compensation fee will be paid to Sheffield Wednesday.
Sky Sports man Anthony Joseph has confirmed that fee is around £300k.

Shaw has been having a breakthrough season at Sheffield Wednesday but they couldn’t convince the player to stay beyond the summer.
Celtic have been very active trying to secure his signature and have managed to get it over the line.
Unlike the Ben Davies deal which was reported as done but hadn’t been signed, Neil Lennon has confirmed the deal.
Shaw will join the club and will attempt to find a place in the Celtic midfield. There will be opportunities with Scott Brown’s Celtic deal running out this summer.
Celtic are going through a rebuild starting now and Shaw could capitalise on the new look squad come August.
