CELTIC will wait to give Stuart Armstrong every chance of making it into the squad for Sunday’s semi final after it was revealed the player was struggling with an injury.

The Scottish midfielder has come back into the fold after a long layoff earlier this season and has had mixed form.

Brendan Rodgers wants to give the player every opportunity to prove his fitness.

It’s likely a decision will be taken on the morning of the game, however, if the Irishman has any doubts over Stuart’s fitness it’s likely he will go with Olivier Ntcham in midfield.

Celtic are looking to book their place in final of the Scottish Cup with a win over their Glasgow rivals.

It’s going to be interesting to see which starting xi Rodgers goes with.
