Celtic have been struggling in defence this season and Brendan Rodgers is looking to the German defender to bring his experience and offer some stability.
It could be a busy transfer window for Brendan Rodgers with traffic expected to go in and out from Paradise. Rodgers lost his first domestic game on Sunday to Hearts and it is expected he will look to strengthen to get Celtic back to winning ways and progress in Europe.
