ZINEDINE FERHAT is attempting to force his way out of his club after receiving limited game time this season.

Despite being out of contract in six months’ time, the Nimes player is eyeing up a move and Celtic is one of the clubs interested in the Algerian’s signature.

The winger has attracted eyes from Ligue 1 sides Montpellier and St Etienne, however, the latter has cooled their interest. Instead, St Etienne hopes Montpellier sign the player and send him out on loan.

French outlet Objectif Gard, reported by the Daily Record, has said the midfielder has refused to attend training as he searches for a new club to join.

It is reported that the player is currently in Algeria and preparing for a new club with his agent hunting for a move.

The fallout seems beyond repair and it looks likely that Ferhat will be leaving the second-tier outfit very soon, whether Glasgow will be his next destination or not is anybody’s guess.

  1. So one minute he’s a winger then in the next paragraph he’s being called a defender. Due diligence not being done here from the writer

  2. This website is quickly turning out to be the digital equivalent of ”Chip Wrapper News’

Bad enough it being news from two days ago but getting people to ‘write’ these dated articles when it is obvious that English is not their first language is tantamount to a form of mental abuse.
