JOHN MCGINN says he’s glad he’s at the other side of the world with Scotland at the moment as speculation on his future continues to intensify.

The Hibs midfielder has been heavily linked with Celtic all season and in the past week, the rumours have gotten much louder.

McGinn himself though is trying to keep his mind focused and not overthink things while away on international duty.

“I am glad to be on the other side of the world at the moment if I am honest. I am aware of what’s going on and what’s being said.

“I wake up each morning to different speculation but that’s something I can’t control. Being over here with Scotland has allowed me to focus on training and the matches and it has been a big help.

Celtic are reportedly willing to offer cash plus Scott Allan as part of a deal to bring the Hibs star to Paradise.

It remains to be seen if Hibs will let their best player go.
