Celtic and Dundee will slug it out at Dens Park on Saint Stephen’s Day when the Hoops may be looking at taking more than just 3 points.

Celtic have previously been linked with 22-year-old Jack Hendry and that interest seems to be reigniting with the oncoming transfer window. Hendry only signed a two-year contract with Dundee in July this year.

Rodgers has spoken about Hendry previously:
‘The boy Hendry at the back I thought was excellent,’ said Rodgers. ‘He’s quick and strong, and is a good size. Scotland needs center-halves and he looks a talent.’

The defender has only made 32 career appearances so more than likely he will be another player Brendan Rodgers is looking to develop for the future. The young Scot has featured 18 times already for Dundee since signing.

Celtic are due to announce the signing of 32-year-old Marvin Compper any day now. We also reported this morning they have also made a move for 22-year-old playmaker Lewis Morgan.
