Celtic are reportedly keeping tabs on Swansea City attacker Andrew Ayew.

As reported by Wales Online, according to a report in Ayew’s homeland, GhanaSoccerNet, the club are supposedly keen on bringing him to Glasgow as his contract runs out at the Welsh side this summer.

In the same report, the club, at one stage, was reportedly interested in bringing the Ghana international to Scotland under former manager Brendan Rodgers during his time at the Hoops. So, it could be second time lucky for Celtic in terms of bringing Ayew to the club.

The 31-year old has spent a lot of his time recently down south at the likes of West Ham and two spells with Swansea, with a loan move to Fenerbache thrown in during the 2018/19 season.

With the news that Frenchman Odsonne Edouard is edging closer to a departure from the club, as Leicester City make their move, we are in desperate need of attacking options going into next season.

Whether Ayew is the man to lead the line for in-coming boss Ange Postecoglou, that remains to be seen.

  1. I sincerely hope not, he is hopeless and probably worse than ajeti, Griff is a better striker than both of them put together.
