This call-up comes amidst growing interest from Celtic, who have placed a formal bid for the 23-year-old following his impressive performances in the MLS.
Celtic resumed negotiations with LAFC after the final on Sunday night, where Bogusz assisted Olivier Giroud from a corner, but it wasn’t enough to avoid the 3-1 defeat. The discussions between Celtic and LAFC are progressing as the Scottish club looks to bolster their attacking options.
Should Bogusz make the move to Celtic, he could find himself playing his first senior game for his country against potential future teammates Greg Taylor, Anthony Ralston, and James Forrest when Poland meets Scotland at Hampden Park on September 5.
There’s a lot that needs to happen between now and the Friday 11 pm deadline, but there does seem to be a lot of movement at Celtic just now.
