When Celtic took on Hearts on the last day of the SPFL season where the club lifted their eighth league title in a row there was a special guest in attendance on the day.

West Brom contract rebel, Rekeem Harper was Celtic’s guest on the day as the player sat down with the club over and discussed the potential of a deal for Rekeem to join the Scottish Champions.

The previous week, Neil Lennon was pictured at West Brom’s playoff game at the Hawthorns to watch the midfielder in action.

Since that day, everything has gone a bit cold as Celtic have chased other targets and Rekeem has weighed up his options.

It has now been reported that new West Brom boss Slaven Bilic will make one last plea to Harper for his West Brom stay in showdown talks.

The Express and star claims the Bilic will try and convince the Celtic target not to leave. It’s unclear at this point if Celtic are still interested in securing the midfielder. The bhoys are still waiting to hear if David Turnbull will join the club.

  1. Look it all comes down to any player that wants to play for Celtic, if he the player wants 3 or 4 seasons on good money and have chance of winning medals then Celtic are one of a few that can give him that,it is not up to anyone else to try and make there mind up,not any agent or father or even there mother, grow a pair and lets see if they can cut it that is if you think you are as good as you think you are…
