Celtic target John Doig has ended speculation about his Easter Road exit this summer by penning a new long term deal with the Leith side.
Doig has made a massive impact this season and it’s been reported Celtic, Manchester City and Leeds have all been keeping tabs on the defender according to Goal.com.
However, if anybody has a desire to sign the player anytime soon, it’s going to cost them a sizeable fee.
Doig has shown faith in Hibs and vice versa by signing a deal to keep him at the club until 2025.

You have to applaud the youngster’s loyalty and the fact he will develop better inside the Hibernian system at the moment instead of chasing bigger wages at this point.
He’s certainly a top young Scottish talent and Celtic wouldn’t be doing their jobs properly if they didn’t keep an eye on the player.
By the time 2025 rolls around, there’s a big chance Doig will have already made a move elsewhere if he continues to develop. Hibernian get to benefit from his presence in the team until he moves away and when he does, they will be compensated well.
