Celtic target Bright Osayi-Samuel has been told he is ‘undermining’ current club Queens Park Rangers, as he continues to run down his contract going into the final six months of his deal.

As reported by Glasgow Live, pundit Ali Maxwell believes that the winger is having a negative impact on the club by not signing a new deal at the London based side.

“Bright Osayi-Samuel’s contract is up at the end of the season and it means that as of January 1st he can talk and agree terms with clubs from abroad.

“It feels like that’s hanging over both Osayi-Samuel and in his position as really sort of their key attacking player at the whole club.

“Ilias Chair is doing his best and creating chances for the strikers and at the moment they are not taking them and it just feels like something that’s undermining the whole club and that’s not something we want to see.”

Osayi-Samuel seems like a top talent who could suit a team like Celtic in a position that we are in need of a player.

Going into the final six months of his contract, there is a chance of signing the right-winger on a pre-contract or even get him for a reduced price in the January window.

It remains to be seen if he does sign a new deal at the club he came through as a youngster but at this stage, it looks like there could be a chance of Celtic signing the young winger.
