Celtic have announced that B Team captain Mitchell Robertson and midfielder Kyle Ure have both committed their futures to the club, signing new contracts until the summer of 2027.

Mitchell Robertson, the B team captain, has extended his stay in Glasgow’s east end. The centre-back first broke into Stephen McManus’ side during the 2021/22 campaign and has since established himself as a pivotal figure in Celtic’s youth system.

A serial winner at youth level, the 20-year-old has played a key role in helping Celtic lift both the Scottish Youth Cup and the Glasgow Cup. He’s also had outings in the UEFA Youth League.

Kyle Ure has also penned a new deal with the Hoops, extending his contract until June 2027. The 19-year-old midfielder has been a standout performer for Celtic’s youth teams and is seen as one of the club’s brightest prospects.

Ure captained the Celtic Under-18s to a dramatic Scottish Youth Cup victory last year, defeating Rangers 6-5 in a thrilling encounter at Hampden Park. He received many plaudits for his performance, with many tuning into YouTube to watch the match.

Ure’s also played in the UEFA youth league, and is set to face RB Salzburg in the next round.

Hopefully, they can break into the first team in years to come.
