Celtic will find out tomorrow morning just after 11 pm who their 3rd round opponents will be if they manage to knock out Nomme Kalju. Celtic will play the first leg of the clash at home on Wednesday night before heading off to Estonia the following week.

There have already been some surprise eliminations in qualifiers and if Celtic were to go out to Nomme Kalju it would be a massive shock.

Celtic could face League Of Ireland opposition if Dundalk can overcome Qarabag in their round two clash.

The competition really heats up in round 3 and it might not be set out loud but there are certainly teams Celtic would like to avoid. On their day Celtic can beat any of the opposition for round 3 but there are still places you don’t want to travel to this early in the season.

If Maribor manages to get past AIK Stockholm they are a potential opponent. Maribor has of course done damage to Celtic in Europe before when they eliminated the Bhoys back in 2014.

Other away trips that Lennon would probably secretly like to avoid is Maccabi Tel Aviv, HJK Helsinki or CFR Cluj. As we said earlier, Celtic have to take care of business with Nomme Kalju first.
