CELTIC have reportedly made an approach for Bolton youngster Luca Connell as they get set to snap up David Turnbull later this week.
Neil Lennon is said to be very interested in raiding his former club for the 18-year-old after he was recently called up to a Republic of Ireland training camp.
The defender has only signed a contract extension to his youth deal and has yet to put pen to paper on a professional contract with the troubled English side. MailSport report Celtic can land Bolton’s ‘Prized Asset’ for a little under 250k this summer under FIFA rules.
Celtic have sparked into life in the last 24 hours with a bid accepted for young David Turnbull, they are in talks with Toulouse for strong centre back Christopher Jullien and now Connell could be another player on the way very shortly.
The club are looking to get deals over the line in plenty of time for the new campaign kicking off.
