The Celtic under 17 side have been making waves over in America this week as the club takes part in the MLS Generation Adidas Cup.
Both the Celtic Under 17s and Under 15s are participating in the competition in their age category.
Games run for 60 minutes, with a ten minute half time break.
The Under 17 Celtic side are flying in the competition so far with two wins to their name. They drew 1-1 with Atlanta United which meant the game went to a penalty shootout, the bhoys running out winners on spot-kicks. They followed that result up with a win 2-1 victory over New England Revolution.
It has the Hoops sitting top of their group with the final game set to be played against Cincinnati on Tuesday afternoon. You can watch that game LIVE on TWITCH and YOUTUBE at 3pm.
Celtic were awarded two points for their penalty win and the traditional three for their win against Revolution.
The under 15s aren’t fairing so well.
They have just one point from their opening two games.
Losing 2-0 to Austin FC and losing out on penalties to Seattle after a 1-1 draw. The young Celts sit bottom of the pile.
The U17s have the chance to grab one of the top 10 seeded spots for the knockout phase of the competition with a win. It’ll be well worth a watch.
