Jack Hendry moved out on-loan for the second time during his Celtic career this week with the player surplus to requirements at Parkhead.

The centre-back has looked out of his depth in the games he has played for the club and the move has unfortunately not worked out.

However, there could be more light at the end of the tunnel for Jack and Celtic with Oostende conforming via their official website that the club have an option to buy The Celtic defender at the end of the loan.

The best part, Celtic could actually get their money back for Hendry with the fee sitting at €1.94m which is around £1.75m.

Jack came to Celtic from Dundee in a £1.5m fee. If the club manages to turn a slight profit out of this deal, Peter Lawwell might need his own statue! If the Belgian’s take up the option it will prove a decent bit of business for Celtic.
