CELTIC are set to miss out on some summer cash, with Moussa Dembele potentially leaving Lyon on a free after his contract expires in June. [Daily Record]
It’s been widely reported that Celtic and Lyon had agreed to a sell-on clause, which would see Celtic get more money on top of the £20 million they received for him in the summer of 2019. It’s thought that the Glasgow club would be owed 15% of any fee received by Lyon.
However, the Hoops could still receive a small fee. With Lyon exploring their options, they’re open to selling the Brendan Rodgers signing for under £5 million.
It’s not been a great season for Dembele, scoring just twice in his 12 appearances, of which only half were starts.
However, his poor form isn’t putting off clubs like Galatasaray, who are keeping a close eye on Moussa’s situation and are preparing to make a move this January, knowing a relatively low price can secure the striker’s services.
Well sign him
