Celtic remain in the market for a winger with just over three weeks left of the January transfer window.
Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda were absent for yesterday’s trip to Dingwall, prompting a smart tactical reshuffle from Brendan Rodgers.

While the Hoops didn’t have any issues in the Highlands, their inherent lack of strong depth out wide is a valid concern.
It was reported on Friday night that the Bhoys are in talks to sign £7m-rated Sarpsborg winger Sondre Ørjasæter, and an update has since emerged on the 21-year-old’s future.
Indeed, according to RecordSport, Ørjasæter is well aware of Celtic’s interest, although he has been ‘scouted extensively’ by some of the ‘leading teams’ in Europe. Portuguese giants Benfica are one of several sides across the continent keeping tabs on the winger.
To land their man, it would appear the Scottish Premiership champions have to beat off vast competition.
Celtic’s need for a winger is apparent, and Rodgers will be keen to get someone in the door sooner rather than later.
Any January arrivals in Glasgow’s east end, though, won’t be able to play in any of the Hoops’ closing two UEFA Champions League league phase matches against Young Boys and Aston Villa. They can, however, be registered for the knockout rounds.
Ørjasæter could be playing at European football’s top level next month if he makes the switch from Norway to Scotland.
