Aarhus GF left-back and reported Celtic transfer target, Casper Hojer has dismissed any links of him leaving the club at this current time.

Last week, it was reported that Hojer, who’s contract is up next summer, was being lined up by the Scottish Champions as a possible alternative for the club if they were to fail in the pursuit of Charlton left-sided player, Alfie Doughty.

However, when speaking to an AGF fan website, ‘More than a club’, the Danish left-back ruled out a move away from the club.

“As it looks right now, I will stay at AGF. I think (I’m staying). I cannot imagine anything else. At least, I have not heard anything.”

It is clear that Neil Lennon and his backroom staff are on the hunt for a player who can play in the left-back/wing-back area of the pitch before Monday nights transfer deadline.

There appears to have been many different targets that we have tried to make a move for with the likes of Doughty and Ryan Sessegnon being linked with a move.

Hopefully, the club can get something over the line, within the next few, as we are currently in desperate need, for at the very least backup, in that area of the pitch.
