CELTIC are monitoring three of their first team stars before the Scottish Cup Final on May 25.

The bhoys have been struggling with injuries most of the season and it seems there will be one last injury sweat before the game which could make even more history.

The biggest name in on the list who is currently a doubt according to RecordSport is Odsonne Edouard who apparently picked up a knock at Ibrox. The Frenchman didn’t have his best game in the Hoops but the reports say he could be struggling for the final.

The other two who might not make it are Mikael Lustig and Jonny Hayes. Lustig came off at half time at Ibrox with an injury while Jonny Hayes has also picked up a knock.

Hayes shouldn’t be a problem to replace if Celtic wrap Kieran Tierney up in cotton wool before the game. The defender needs a double hernia op but is waiting until the season is over.

  1. You know what makes me pissed off we buy two players one got sent back home the other never got on the pitch both cost around £2 million where they buy players for less or around same price that fit right in there team we some times never see our new players,it is time we seen them and what they can do.
    There was a time any player that cost £2 million was put in the team but it looks like we only got places for the same faces/players to play each week fit or not…

  2. What irks me is all these bloody injuries what is going on at Lennoxtown as you know yourself troops when you played football in the sixties era with an old laced up bladder and kicked about with an old mouldy, You played on the school pitches, up the fields and on the streets for dawn to dusk and this was nearly every night, We all loved it 22 -A Side first one to 21 wins the game, Rain, Sleet or Snow, We were out their and slide tackles etc 10-a-penny, You may have just played a game of football for your school, the scouts or your local street team, After that all you wanted to do is when you got home and saw your pals you would say fancy an eleven a side or (Heide-Fitba) Injuries what injuries knackered no me, Just going up for so and so, You take your baw with you go around a few mates and that’s it, They awe come out doon the street, You and Davy are picking the team, You go first awe right, And awe want is the best players, So you pick your team and wee davie picks his team, Then it starts look at the team you’ve picked and look at the team I’ve picked, Aye but you’ve got Wullie, Then your reply but you’ve got wee Tam, Awe ok then but we want kick off, Half Time first team to score 11 goals, Then the first team to 21, Then its blood and thunder, But by God you couldn’t wait for another game the next day, Its what kept some of us going and it’s just a pity that you do not see much of this happening these days, If we could turn back time, We wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again, But age catches up with you and all you have is your memories as to how we all managed to go out for a game of fitness with your pals and you didn’t care what the weather was like, If given the opportunity we would have played 24/7 Without a moment’s hesitation, Then you look at some of the players around the world, go to ground and roll around on the floor like they have been run over with a German tank they would never have lasted today playing with an old mouldy or an old laced up bladder, Mind you when either of these balls walloped you in the coupon on a cold winters day or night, You knew all about, Even when it was pissing of rain and the same thing happens to you, By God you didn’t realise what hit you, It was like getting a punch from Cassius Clay or Henry Cooper two of boxing’s great . Even trying to head those balls (ffs) It was like an old tenement building had just crashed down on the top of your head,, Todays footballers would never have lasted with us footballing street kids away back then, As I Say We Still Have Those Great Memories Of All Our Yesterdays, {FANCY A GAME AWE FITBAW PAL}
