Neil Lennon has given Celtic fans the lay of the land when it comes to early season injuries.

Two players went off last week in Celtic’s 3-1 win over Sarajevo; Mikey Johnston and new signing Bolingoli both limped off during the first round qualifier and were a doubt for the return leg.

Neil Lennon has confirmed to CelticTV that Bongoli has shaken off his injury to be available for selection but Mikey Johnston is still coming back from a hip strain.

The Celtic gaffer looks to have ruled out new bhoy Marian Shved and striker Vakoun Bayo with their respective injuries but did admit both are on the mend and will be available soon.

“Johnston’s got a hip strain, Shved is coming back from a groin injury and Bayo is close to returning to training. Bolingoli is fine and in the squad.” Neil Lennon confirmed.

Celtic welcome the Bosnian Champions to Celtic Park on Wednesday night where they will look to finish the job. Neil Lennon is taking nothing for granted and will make sure his side aren’t complacent, given what’s at stake.

“We go out and try and win the game, not to be complacent, show the opposition respect. We can’t take any team lightly in this competition.

“It’s a nice lead, but the tie isn’t over yet. Hopefully we can be sharper and fitter than we were last week”
