Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has received a call-up to the Australian national team ahead of this month’s World Cup qualifiers.
The 28-year old has come into a new lease of life under Ange Postecoglou, which has also led to him becoming a key cog within the midfield for his international side as they look to qualify for the Qatar World Cup later this year.
It was confirmed by the Socceroos early this morning that Rogic would be travelling to the other side of the world to take part in the final two qualifying games, which could be crucial in their chances of qualification.
A few new faces and plenty returning for duty 💪

His call-up has also set up a clash on the international scene of several Hoops first-team stars, including Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda, as Australia face off against Japan before taking on Saudi Arabia in the final group match.
With just four points between third-placed Australia and top of the group Saudi Arabia, the first game between the Socceroos and Japan should be an intriguing watch, with many incentives for Celtic fans to catch the game on the 24th of March, with three Celts potentially in action.
Before the players jet off on international duty, though, first, the focus will remain on picking up three points against Ross County at Celtic Park this weekend.
