ACCORDING to the agent of Dedryk Boyata the club has now turned down THREE large bids for Dedryk Boyata.

The widely reported Fulham bid was one of them but the defender’s agent also claims Olympiakos and Fernabace have also had bids rejected muchbto the annoyance of Boyata and his agent.

The Belgian has had his head turned by his agent who is trying his best to get Celtic to sell up by using less than respectable tactics.

Boyata did not travel with the squad to Greece claiming a back injury but it’s felt Rodgers doesn’t feel he’d be much use with current ongoing issues.

  1. He is inferior to anyone we have with the exception of COMPER so let hm go to the highest bidder..
CELTIC have been unfairly about McGinn . As soon as Celtic declared their interest Hibs chairmen Petrie issued. A statement saying that he would be transferred to Any team eExcept Celtic . That did not prevent Celtic making bids because Petrie would have to change his mind if he did not get a bid. He was stringing Celtic along and. No doubt enjoying himself. But revenge is sweet and Celtic will get their revenge this season where it hurts on the pitch at Celtic Park and Eastear Road.

  2. Meantime, what has happened to the Australian wonderboy?
I understand he completed his business at Manchester last week in two or three days, but am unaware of his loan deal to Celtic being confirmed.

  3. Surely, if it is true that Boyata, who is currently employed by Celtic, is really on strike and refuses to play, then Celtic are entitled to withhold any salary due for the time he stays on strike, This would be easily defendable by any competent lawyer and Celtic do have such lawyers. If he is indeed on strike and not injured, then this would be an appropriate strategy I should imagine.

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in Boyata as a person if this is the case and there is no way that such actions can be supported. As for his agent, his actions are contemptable and underhand, but entirely expected from his past record. Boyata needs to grow up He is a 27 year old acting like a teenager.

Celtic do not deserve such behaviour from a player they have supported and improved and treated exceptionally well.

  4. Let him lie in the reserves still got a couple of years left in his contract and then see if anybody comes in for him …..He’s been a bomb scare in some matches and now he’s played in a handful of world cup games he think he’s the next Puyol scunner him and then get rid ungrateful rodent

  5. Don’t understand what boyata is thinking ,Rodgers has repeatedly said that he needed the best players to got through to c/l and then he would not stand in the way of any transfers,it’s not Rodgers fault the EPL transfer window shut earlier than other leagues,I’m am sure if we qualified then the boy would have been allowed to go will cfc and the majority of the fans blessings as I can’t recall 5 really good games he’s had .
