Celtic will welcome Serie A side Lazio to Parkhead on Wednesday in the Champions League. It is matchday two, and the Bhoys will be eager to get back on track after defeat to Feyenoord a few weeks ago.
Against Maurizio Sarri’s side, the Hoops’ record is far from poor. They secured back-to-back 2-1 victories in the Europa League group stages a few years ago and would love a similar result this midweek.

Team News
From the weekend, there are no fresh injury concerns for Celtic. Long-term absentees Cameron Carter-Vickers, Liel Abada, and Maik Nawrocki remain out whilst Gustaf Lagerbielke, who did play on Saturday, will miss this one through suspension, along with Odin Thiago Holm.
Because of Lagerbielke’s unavailability, Nat Phillips will more than likely get the nod at centre-half, partnering Liam Scales. He came off the bench at the weekend and got a pre-assist for Matt O’Riley’s late winner.
Supporters will be hoping for similar scenes on Wednesday against the Italians. Brendan Rodgers’ men are more than capable of pulling off a result, but it will in no way be a simple task.
Why is Tottenham’s manager still on Celtic’s pages.
