Celtic made light work of a Hearts side who lacked any sort of direction as their diminished travelling fan base sat quietly and watched them get turned over.

A brace from Bayo and a cracker from Callum McGregor meant all three points were won by Celtic. The two Bayo goals have been debated but it would be incredibly harsh to take both off them and credit them to Hearts players no matter how bad Craig Levein would like to.

Neil Lennon put out a changed side again as he looks to make full use of his squad playing in so many competitions.

Bayo’s first start was a success and Forster coming back in for re-debut was great to see. Technically the big man saved a penalty but the rebound found the back of the net.

So what did we learn from the game against Hearts?

  1. There’s a player in Boli Bolingoli, he just needs to cut out silly slack passes.

2. Ajer at right back is a machine! Pretty certain you can play this guy anywhere.

3. Bayo has a lot of pace to burn and striker instincts. He will be valuable going forward.

  1. The player in Boli Bolingoli is a attacking left midfielder if we get a over lapping LB then the both will fit like a glove,Ajer used at right back then we have plenty cover there i would still like another CH a seasoned pro that we can sign him up for one season at a time.and Bayo has got it he will score plenty goals am sure of that, this is a huge week for us we must make sure we make the EL groups and then go to them and win the game but also we must make sure we do not get beat there,a win in both games would be a dream week make it happen Celtic lets do them both, bring it on…
