CELTIC took a rare clean sheet against Ross County on Wednesday night as the bhoys ran out 2-0 winners.

It wasn’t an inspired game, it was efficient, the players never looked panicked or even looked like they would concede. Conor Hazard had very little to do in goals for the full ninety minutes.

Celtic’s win means they are still 16 points behind their rivals and have not gone any further behind. We head to Hamilton next for a boxing day game followed by Dundee Utd before the new year. It’s going to be a pivotal time for the bhoys but they’ll need to up their game in the coming days.

Positives

A clean sheet.

Turnbull continues to impress.

Four wins on the bounce and even though we aren’t playing well, we’re winning.

Negative

Edouard’s finishing.

The Frenchman looks a shadow of his former self in front of goal. Even having Leigh around him tonight didn’t do much for him. The penalty at the weekend was outstanding but not finishing his chances from open play is a major issue.

  1. I have to disagree with your Eddie point. I just dont think he is getting any luck or rub of the green at the moment. It is a game of millimetres at times, and he just seems to be catching every bad deflection and unlucky bounce at the minute. I have a feeling once one goes in he will be on fire again.
