Storm Celtic breezed through to the next round of the Scottish Cup today after a win against League One side Clyde. With the Bhoys winning a historic “Treble Treble” trophy haul last season, competitions on all fronts are starting to heat up.

Neil Lennon already secured the first trophy of the season at the end of 2019 with a 1-0 Glasgow derby cup final win. His side is also in a prime position in the league with a seven-point gap over the second-placed team.

Neil Lennon was able to give some players a rare runout today as he made several changes to his team line up and formation to facilitate the glut of games the Bhoys will face in the next couple of months.

Oliver Ntcham and Scott Brown gave Celtic their first-half goals today as the Bhoys played in cruise mode in the second half. Substitute Bayo sealed the win with a third goal right at the death for a 0-3 win for the Hoops.

The draw for the next round came straight after today’s games so Neil Lennon found out pretty quickly his next opponent will be St Johnstone away. Afterwards, Neil Lennon said it will be a tough away game.

After four games in a row away from home, the Bhoys will return to Paradise on Wednesday night to take on a relegation battling Hearts side.
