CELTIC’s Albian Ajeti will NOT have to serve a two match ban after it was confirmed the hearing had been thrown out as ‘not proved’ by the governing bodies.

Celtsarehere predicted the outcome when the charge was dealt out to the Swiss frontman. Celtic could not believe their player had even been cited in the first place and made it clear they were appealing the decision.

It’s proven to be the correct call by the club who will now have Albian free to play in both the St Mirren game and St Johnstone game this week.

The SFA seem to be a shambles lately with the disciplinary system. We were told Claire Whye, the compliance officer, was leaving her role with the SFA in early January. So what;s in place of it now and who brought the charges against Ajeti when they were clearly not going to be held up.

What the SFAs charge does do is colour referees opinion of Ajeti in the future, you can guarantee he will not get the benefit or the doubt or even a stonewall penalty in the near future because the SFA putting a public spotlight on the incident.

  1. Total useless shower, not a brain between them. They probably think they did us a favour letting Ajeti off with no case to answer.
To be honest whoever is running the 6th floor, I suspect they don’t even know who’s got the keys to the place???

The SFA are taking Scottish Football back to the times of the thugs in South America, where players kicked the sh1t out of each other, with no consequence. Third world football, I wish we were as good as that.
