Celtic loanee Marian Shved is reportedly coming closer to an exit from the club with KV Mechelen looking to make his loan deal a permanent one.

As reported by BBC Sport, according to the Daily Record (print edition) the Belgian club is in talks with the Hoops over making the deal permanent with the Ukrainian winger currently performing well for his loan side.

This news comes after yesterday it was reported that fellow loanee Jack Hendry could be close to completing his move to Belgian with Oostende after an impressive spell.

The 23-year old has certainly been a player who has been discussed a lot by Celtic fans in many different ways. We are yet to see much of him playing in the Hoops with Shved having very little game time and many supporters feel he should be given a second chance to return to Scotland and prove himself.

However, that now looks unlikely as Mechelen eye this permanent deal. After a tough start over in Belgium, since the new year, Shved has really kicked on and shown what he can do as one of the key players in the side, so it is no surprise they are looking to make the deal happen.
