Celtic’s women’s team have got their season up and running with an emphatic 10-0 victory over Hearts women in Edinburgh this afternoon.

The ladies started their campaign with a defeat to Glasgow City but they took their frustrations out on the Jambos to spectacular effect!

Celtic have invested heavily in their women’s side and have new manager Fran Alonso at the helm; former Everton and Southampton first team coach.

They were ready to get going earlier this year but the virus stopped the team from starting their new adventure. Now with the women’s league back up and running, the Celtic women are hungry for success.

This victory today sends a message to the rest of the league. If they can’t find this sort of killer instinct in the rest of their fixtures, they will be a force this season.
