This afternoon, Celtic Women discovered their semi-final fate as they were drawn against Hibernian in the last four of the SWPL Cup.
Fran Alonso’s side will be looking to get past the Edinburgh side to take on either Spartans or Glasgow City in the final and a shot at silverware.
They reached the semi-final, with another impressive Glasgow derby fixture, against Rangers yesterday.
Summer signing Charlie Welling’s second-half strike was enough for the Hoops to secure a place in the semi-final and remain unbeaten against our Glasgow rivals since Fran Alonso took charge.

Before the focus turns to that cup tie, though, the Women’s side faces a massive week of fixtures as they prepare to take on Hearts on Wednesday evening and then the prospect of rivals, Rangers once again this Sunday at home.
Well done girls keep playing like this and the cup can be yours. Come on the Hoops
