KARAMAKO DEMBELE is fresh off his debut Celtic reserve goal and is now captaining his England Under 16 side in the prestigious Val de Marne tournament.

The Celtic wonder kid has been part of an international tug of war between Scotland and England with the midfielder able to play for both sides before he declares and plays for one nation.

Every effort by Scotland and England is being made to try and secure Dembele’s international future but is captaining this England side going to sway the 15-year-old’s decision.

Celtic have been developing the player for some time and the player rose to prominence when some of the videos of his skills went viral on the internet.

The young star seems grounded and willing to put the work in.

Brendan Rodgers will not be rushing the youngster into the first team upon his 16th birthday but if he continues to progress we could see him playing in the next year or two.

  1. So he might get his Celtic chance in a year or two eh!!! Well that might be just too late because he will go where people are willing to show faith in him first. He has to be given the chance to show what he can do or he’s off. Remember Pele at sixteen in the 1958 World cup???
