CELTIC ran rampant against their Glasgow Cup opponents Partick Thistle to reach the final of the competition.

The game which took place at Lennoxtown so Celtic run out 4-0 winners as the developmental side goes from strength to strength.

It was another fantastic outing for Armstrong Oko-Flex who can do no wrong at the minute. The attacking midfielder has been a sensation since arriving from Arsenal in the summer.

Armstrong has made the first team bench once at Rugby Park before Brendan Rodgers left for Leicester.

Goals from McInroy, Oko-Flex, Duffy and Aitchison made sure the bhoys got to the final with the lads in great form.

Karamoko Dembele played 80 minutes of the game before being substituted – he was unlucky not to score himself.

If Armstrong keeps playing the way he is, it’s only a matter of time before he gets a chance at a first team game. If Celtic get the league wrapped up with time to spare, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him make his first team bow.

CELTIC…4 0….Partick Thistle (McInroy 1, Oko-Flex 20, Duffy 29, Aitchison 56)

CELTIC: Mullen; Duffy, Deas, Welsh, Church, McInroy, Coffey (Robertson 76), McLaughlin (Diver), Dembele (Caffrey 80), Oko-Flex (Savoury 80), Aitchison
Subs: Hughes, McQueen, Kennedy.
