KARAMKO DEMBELE has been included in the Scotland Under 16 squad for the Victory Shield later this year after continuing to impress.

The 14-year-old is yet to decide his international future having played for both Scotland and England – he still has plenty of time to pick who he ultimately plays for.

He will now play a massive role in the young Scots side as they look to win the competition.

Brendan Rodgers has spoken about Karamako’s talent in the past and how it’s essential for the young lad to progress at a reasonable pace and Celtic are trying their best to protect the youngster

Dembele is one of three Celtic players in the squad alongside Dylan Forrest and Michael Sparkes.
