Celtic won the league last season, snatching the trophy back from The Rangers after a poor season from the Hoops.

Celtic has been dominant in Scottish football for over a decade; despite this, the majority of the Clyde 1 Super Scoreboard panel believe that the trophy will return to Ibrox at the end of the season.

Hugh Keevins continued his ‘pass the parcel’ patter, Andy Halliday also predicted The Rangers to win the league, Gordon Dalziel complimented Celtic’s ‘terrific season under a terrific manager’ yet he still stated that the Ibrox side would clinch the title this year.

Steven Mill followed suit tiping Gio’s men to win the league, Roger Hannah also stated his belief that The Gers would reclaim the title. More interestingly, Hannah tipped Soutar for player of the year!

Given that Celtic was predicted to finish third last season, I don’t think too many fans will care too much about what was said. They should change the premise of the question to who would they LIKE to see win, rather than who they think is going to win.

Mark Wilson didn’t hesitate and tipped his former club to go on and lift the league trophy next year. Andrew Maclean agreed with Wilson, stating the top three would remain the same as last year.
