It’s being reported that despite Liel Abada saying he’s happy at Celtic, he’s still likely to move on this summer if the bhoys receive their valuation for the player.

Football insider report Parkhead chiefs are looking for £10m for the Israeli winger in the summer. You would also have to imagine they would be attaching a substantial sell on clause in any deal, as is the norm with the Hoops outgoing deals.

Abada has appeared 42 times for Celtic so far, 25 of those appearances have been from the bench. The winger has still managed 12 goals and 7 assists this term.

Daizen Maeda and Jota have been the preferred pairing on each side of the wing under Ange Postecoglou this season. Something you can’t really argue with due to both players performances and the fact Celtic are on the brink of a historic treble.

Personally, we’d love to see Celtic Abada stay and evolve at Celtic over the next few years, but we know nothing really stands still in football and the club will have their eye on other targets should Liel leave the building.
