CELTIC have until the end of this month to sort out Leigh Griffiths future before it’s out of their hands.

Leigh has not had the extra year on his contract triggered as of yet and if the Hoops don’t activate it, the striker will leave on a free this summer.

Edinburgh News report, Hibernian will be watching with a keen eye on developments in Glasgow. Leigh is a massive Hibs fan and has already had two spells at the club during his career.

Picking up a goalscorer as prolific as Leigh would be a coup for the Leith side.

The report claims if Celtic don’t trigger the clause by the end of April then Leigh would be able to seek a move away.

The issue for Celtic is nobody knows who should be making this decision. The club are going to be so low on players but a new manager should be deciding what happens next.

There is a scenario where Celtic let the April deadline pass and wait for a new manager to let Leigh know his intentions for next season.
