Celtic could be set for an audacious swoop for Borussia Monchengladbach player Hannes Wolf according to German publication BILD.

The attacking midfielder joined The German club from Leipzig in the summer for around £8m, however, since the move, Hannes has only played 303 minutes of football.

The 22-year-old is reportedly looking at his options and BILD believe Celtic are seriously looking at bringing Wolf into the club in January.

Given the player only moved in the summer, a loan deal would likely be the end goal for Celtic if they were to make a move for Wolf.

Ange Postecoglou is looking for reinforcements in January, midfield is an area we do need to strengthen.

We need players who can hit the ground running for the second half of the season.

The club are likely working on a number of deals but will hope to offload some fringe players who aren’t featuring under Ange.

Guys like Barkas and Ajeti immediately spring to mind.
