Which summer transfer window over the past ten years do you think is Celtic’s best? We’ve excluded any January dealings and stuck to the summer window only.

Moving our way from current to the past, from 2017 to 2007 we look at some of the summer flops and hits of the last decade. Every manager has his flops, but all the fans are looking for that player that rips the oppositions apart. In 2010 we had a standout window with so many players coming in and holding down a place. 1. We are going to regret not bringing in a central defender. We have known for weeks that we needed to get someone in. CL without a defence!!!

  2. The one with Henrik. Sutton. Hartson. But now it would be one now think if Hayes was to get game every week he fit in well with Roberts and Sinclair.

  3. Disgrace. In Brendan we trust but based on this with our clear need for a first team centre half its yet again a slap in our collective faces. a Fucki@@j joke.

Has Brendan be incentived as per no pistol Pete on future transfers. im disgusted as a working class guy that pushes the boat out with my family to pay for the privilege to follow us. they dont meet us on our journey corporate cousins

  4. You need to shut this site down immediately. I hope that the board at Celtic pay you for toeing the line, or like your counterparts at Ibrox are you bought off cheaply with a couple of seats in the Directors box for lesser games. Clearly this is a Celtic View puff piece and no one is fooled (well plenty of dummies are actually fooled and that is the problem). You think signing three prospects with a 30 yer old from Aberdeen plus Paddy Roberts is the best ever. You are a clown. We do not have a defence. Please spare me the idiot’s mantra, ‘In Brendan we trust’ because we will be up against 365 million pounds worth of the best players in the world with a guy who does not want to be at Celtic and Nir Bitton. Or possibly Lustig, who fades weekly. Look at 2010 under Lennon, much better. But did e get anywhere playing against inferior opposition. The only point in playing in the CL is for the prestige and the money. We are not going to win it but getting extra coefficient points should be the goal. And the money should be used to reinvest in the team. That is not happening. what is the money being kept for. You go back to 2007, a decade. In thtaq decade Celtic’s recruitment for a club our size and playing in Europe every year is pathetic. There is no argument here. Absolutely pathetic. If Hayes gets a game every week then it is a sad indictment of where Celtic football club is. Hayes should be nowhere near Celtic Park he is imply not good enough. He played against St. Johnstone for about 30 minutes, failed to control the ball properly once and missed a few decent chances to win the game. It is also clear that too many of the Celtic sites are compromised due to having their content controlled by those at Celtic Park. The same thing happened after the arrival of Fergus McCann. Leading voices in ‘Celts for change’ were even given jobs at the Celtic View. It silences alternative viiew points and means the heated driveway Tory scum who refuse to pay workers a living wage are never called to account by anyone. Shame on you for publishing this drivel.

    • What kind of moron are you?

The article is asking a question……….what is Celtic’s best summer transfer window over the last ten years.

“Which summer transfer window over the past ten years do you think is Celtic’s best? We’ve excluded any January dealings and stuck to the summer window only”

Talking about the club owning the site and paying people off. Bringing Tory pay policies into the article make you look like a proper eejit. You should plug the internet out of the wall and go and fly a kite you absolute THICK.

  5. Also, John Clarke, Henrik Larsson was at Celtic Park 3 years before Sutton and four before Hartson. They signed in 3 different transfer windows. If there was a window as far back as 1997.
