Celtic Supporter Liaison Officer, John Paul Taylor has confirmed the good news that Celtic’s next qualifier against Ferencvárosi WILL be on the Celtic TV pass next week.

The tie with the Hungarian side will take place on Wednesday according to the UEFA website.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 and a place in the third qualifying round is at stake. As the last round, it will be a one-off tie at Celtic Park.

These games aren’t guaranteed on the Celtic season ticket pass and the further we get we could see the club opt not to show them and give them to a broadcaster.

When it gets to the play-off, we believe the club have little choice but to leave it for broadcasters. UEFA aren’t bothered about where the games are shown until that round of the competition.

Celtic will be hoping they have enough for the Budapest based side come next week.

  1. I suspect all season ticket holders, particularly those who did not ask for refunds for last season, will expect that the very least the plc will do is give free remote access to all home games until we are able to receive the product we have paid for within the stadium.
