Celtic’s Europa Conference League opponents Bodo/Glimt have lined up a warm-weather training camp in Spain to prepare for their European clash with the Hoops in February.

With the Norweigan league having ended in December, the current league champions will be looking to get up to speed ahead of their first game in 67 days when they take on Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic side.

As reported by the Daily Record, Bodo/Glimt will start their pre-season ‘three to four weeks’ before the Parkhead clash and have decided to make the move of travelling to a camp in Spain.

The report also states that Celtic’s opponents were criticised for a similar move last year, when they were the only Norwegian club to travel abroad, against the advice of the government and league officials in their country.

This tie has the potential to be tricky for both sides, with the Hoops coming up against an improving side over the last few years.

However, Bodo/Glimt have a lot to worry about in preparation for this fixture, not only with their pre-season trip but also the number of key players Kjetil Knutsen side look to lose in the January window.
