So far this season, Celtic have already faced their fair share of Thursday night fixtures – whether that be in the Europa League or Premier Sports Cup.

That fixture nightmare has continued after it was announced yesterday that the Hoops face a further Thursday night game against Hearts in December.

The Edinburgh side travel to Parkhead for the game, which was initially scheduled to take place on Wednesday 1st of October.

Now though, with Sky Sports choosing to broadcast multiple midweek fixtures, the Hoops support will take in another Thursday night game under the lights to kick off a busy month.

Just three days later, Ange Postecoglou’s side faces a trip to Tannadice to play Dundee United before taking in a further two home ties against Real Betis and Motherwell to follow.

The busy winter months come part with being a Celtic player nowaday’s, especially in December when the game begins to pile up even further.

So, fingers crossed, we will have hit our form by that point in the season and not pick up any other key injury issues, which we have already faced too often this campaign.
