Although many will be missing their Celtic fix this weekend there is still a chance to see some of the squad in action for their international teams.

If you have the fortune of a long weekend on for the September weekend, here is a round up of all the international fixtures today which will feature current Celtic stars.

So far, a number of Celtic players have already been in action with Callum McGregor having a standout performance for Scotland on Wednesday evening against Ukraine. Greg Taylor came on for a cameo at the end of the match but didn’t really feature.

Elsewhere, Josip Juranovic and Aaron Mooy both got 90 minutes under their belt yesterday for their sides.

The first game to watch out for today (Friday) will be Japan v USA which is kicking off at 13.25 as the game is be played in Dusseldorf. There was potential that this match may have seen some Celtic players come up against each other if it hadn’t been for the injury sustained by Cameron Carter-Vickers. There is a trio of Celtic stars involved in Japan’s team with Kyogo, Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate all being called up for their international team.

Elsewhere this Friday Matt O’Riley’s Denmark Under-21 side are in action against Croatia at 5pm in a play-off for the Under-21 Euros which is not being broadcast.

If you have a Premier Sports subscription, Montenegro’s Nations League match against Bosnia will be shown live on BoxNation at 19.45 where Sead Haksabanovic may get some much needed game time.
