It was a day to forget for Celtic as they fell 3-0 to Rangers in a lacklustre Glasgow Derby performance at Ibrox. Brendan Rodgers’ men were second-best from start to finish, leaving fans frustrated and searching for answers after a disjointed display.
The tone was set early, with Celtic punished for a sloppy mistake. Liam Scales’ misplaced pass gifted possession to Rangers, and Hagi capitalised with a goal in just the seventh minute. From there, the Bhoys struggled to find their rhythm, with midfield battles consistently won by the home side and Liam Kelly in the Rangers goal barely tested.

Celtic briefly thought they’d levelled when Kyogo netted in the second half, only for the flag to go up for offside. Moments later, Rangers doubled their lead from a scrappy corner, Robin Propper pouncing on a rebound. Substitute Danilo sealed the victory with a late strike, ensuring Celtic left empty-handed.
Overall, the team lacked a threat and any sort of cutting edge. Brendan Rodgers made several substitutions in an attempt to change the game, but they failed to turn the tide.
This result leaves Rodgers with much to think about as Celtic simply weren’t at the races this afternoon. A massive response is now needed, both on the training ground and on Sunday against St Mirren at Celtic Park, to ensure this defeat doesn’t derail the season.

I’ll put the mortgage on McGregor telling the media again that we’ll learn from this.
Shocking display against a very average & severely weakened Rangers team.
Keeper & CCV were ok, rest were an absolute disgrace, weak and easily bullied by a Rangers side hardly full of hard men.
We’ll still walk the title but today was a severe wake up call when they should have used the recent Cup Final as the wake up call.
Could go through the whole team but I’ll single out Hatate, so much talent but has become a liability, easily brushed off the ball and loses possession far too easily.
he was brave enough to take Celtic first corner cause of missed coming down disgusting what happens in that ground every time we visit players coach backroom staff board have to suffer for ninty minutes how can you concentrate on playing football yes I’m not surprised wingers and fullbacks played poorly now don’t be niave that that was the only missile thrown onto pitch Evrey time we are a Celtic club are having to go to house of horrors with no protection beyond a joke Celtic as club should think of there staff and refuse to play at ipox
Difficult trying to decipher what you are trying to say, but if you watched the game then you will have seen that the team DID refuse to play today.
