Celtic have a star on their hands! That’s the verdict of one Sunderland fan as the Celtic midfielder scored the vital second goal to send the club to Wembley in the Football League Trophy.
The midfielder is really starting to come onto a game with the English side and the fans have been salivating over his performances. One fan commented that now Neil Lennon is in charge at Celtic, there could be a possibility Sunderland could keep Lewis – it’s wishful thinking, much like us with Paddy Roberts but the player will rejoin the club this summer in anticipation of trying to finally make the breakthrough.
Lewis took his goal well when the opportunity presented itself but his direct play and willingness to attack has won the fans over at the Stadium of light.
Morgan couldn’t get into the Celtic team with an in-form James Forrest banging in goals and he will still have a big job on his hands come the summer.
Here are some Sunderland fans reaction to his latest performance.
Lewis Morgan has looked great recently, wonder what will happen in the summer with Lennon now as manager at Celtic.
