CELTIC and Aberdeen will go head to head next month in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup at Hampden.

The two teams will do battle for the second time at the national stadium this season, with Celtic beating them 1-0 in the League Cup final earlier this season.

After the Dons put Steven Gerrard’s men out of the competition this week, they have their eyes on the prize and want to get some revenge on Celtic who have beaten them three times in three separate cup finals over the last three years. Granted this is only a semi-final but they will be determined to make their mark.

For Celtic, it will be all about gaining momentum from now until then. Neil Lennon’s side couldn’t break Aberdeen down at Celtic Park and will have to be at their best.

The game was confirmed yesterday to take place on Sunday, April 14 in Glasgow with a 2pm KO.

Celtic are set to get the majority share of tickets with the club being told they will get 30k briefs for the game.

The game will also be shown live on Premier Sports.
