CELTIC has today confirmed Celtic Park is SOLD OUT for the visit of Valencia next month after fans clamoured for tickets to the Europa League knock out tie.

After the initial allocation to season ticket holders was dealt with the club allowed season ticket holders to purchase a further two tickets for the game at general sale price – there was a small amount left over for general sale which was quickly snapped up.

Brendan Rodgers’ men look to cause a major upset in Europe when the Spaniards come to town but at least the bhoys know they will have the backing of 60,000 raucous Celtic supporters.

It was in that atmosphere last year that a very good Zenit side fell 1-0 to Celtic when Callum McGregor hit the back of the net. Unfortunately another poor away day cost the Celtic team.

Theres no doubt with the supporters in full voice special things can happen at Celtic Park and with the fans having done their bit it’s now over to Brendan and the bhoys to try and reach the last 16!
